Common Hair Problems and What to Do About Them – Oklahoma City Salons

Almost everyone wants to have healthy, beautiful and easy to manage hair, but split ends, dry hair, oily hair and hair loss if often difficult to overcome for many people. If you have problems with your hair and have tried product after product with little to no improvements, it could be you are using the wrong product. Many store bought hair shampoos and conditioners contain harsh chemicals that only temporarily improve the look and feel of your hair. Home remedies have been effective for centuries for adding moisture to dry hair, eliminating the oil from oily hair and stopping the itch and dryness associated with dandruff. Homemade hair care treatments are excellent for your hair, do not contain harsh chemicals, smell great and can save you money. Here are some of the most popular homemade treatments to help restore shine and healthiness to your hair.

Dry Hair

The daily use of blow dryers, curling irons and oil stripping shampoos can leave your hair dry, brittle and full of split ends. Make a conditioning mask made with two eggs, 6 tablespoons of coconut oil and 1 teaspoon of honey. Pile hair on top of your head and cover with a shower cap or plastic wrap and leave the mask on for about 20-30 minutes, rinse and shampoo with a light shampoo (baby shampoo works great). For a deep conditioner, add one teaspoon of lavender oil to ¼ cup of coconut oil, heat in the microwave for about 30 seconds and apply to your scalp and hair. Leave it on overnight and shampoo the next morning. The overnight mask should be done twice each week to maintain the softness and shininess of your hair. Your stylist can recommend the appropriate deep conditioning treatment (ask questions about whether it’s more than just heavy conditioner) to help you resist your scalp drying out, and your hair with it. Hair can be restored, often enough, with proper professional attention.

Oily Hair

If you have oily hair, it is typically due to an excess of oil being secreted in the scalp. Most people with oily hair find it becomes “sticky” a day or two after shampooing and will wash it more than necessary. Oily hair should not be washed more than three times a week, because it will only increase the amount of oil being secreted. It is best to use a natural, mild shampoo and massage your scalp while washing to loosen the oil that is built up on the hair shafts. A great homemade remedy to reduce the oil, prevent drying and have soft, shiny hair is to mix one teaspoon of aloe Vera gel and two tablespoons of lemon juice in a half full bottle of baby shampoo. Use the shampoo solution each time you wash your hair and follow with an oil free conditioner. To help reduce the oils in your hair, twice each week apply a mask of pureed carrots to your hair, leave on for about 15 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Your stylist can recommend an appropriate regimen and help style your hair to reduce oil buildup.

Dandruff and Itchy Scalp

Having dandruff and a dry, itchy scalp can be embarrassing and frustrating. Some of the dandruff control shampoos work fine at reducing the dandruff, but they never seem to last longer than one shampoo. There are several homemade remedies that will help eliminate dandruff, without drying out your scalp. Make a soothing mask made with ¼ cup of oatmeal, 1/8 cup of water, 6 drops of lavender oil, 3 drops of rosemary oil and 4 drops of tea tree oil. Mix the ingredients together, apply to your scalp and let sit for about 20 minutes, shampoo and condition as normal. Use the mask at least once each week to eliminate an itchy scalp and dandruff. Mixing unrefined virgin coconut oil with a few teaspoons of tea tree oil and rosemary is also a refreshing way to alleviate itching and dryness on your scalp. Your stylist will have products you can’t get just anywhere to help with this, and can implement regular scalp treatments to reduce the flaking.

There are several remedies that can help you maintain a beautiful head of hair, but not all ingredients will work for everyone, so play around with different herbs and essential oils until you find the combination that is the best suited for you particular type of hair. As always, consult your stylist.

Hair today gone tomorrow – Oklahoma City Hair Extensions

It’s a well known fact that celebrities are a fickle bunch when it comes to styles and how long they last. Look at Rihanna – she has a different style and colour every other week. So it’s no surprise that the latest trend in hair styles this season is chopping it all off – I call it the statement cut.

English: Miley Cyrus singing in concert
English: Miley Cyrus singing in concert (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

So what is a statement hair cut? A cut and colour that screams “I’m having an emotional time right now and I want the world to know about it.” Take Miley Cyrus. Her parents are going through a very public divorce and she is also trying to shake off her Disney persona. Fast forward a couple of months and she shocked her fans when she cut her long extensions and opted for a shoulder length cut… then decided to go the whole hog and cut it all off and bleach it blonde.

The media is suggesting it was a career move or publicity stunt – whatever the reason I say congratulations to Miley on her new look – she looks amazing.

Now how to achieve the haircut – and is it called the Miley Cyrus?

No! It’s called the undercut. An edgy new shaved undercut. If you’re wanting to emulate Miley, her hair is dyed platinum and using a pair of clippers you cut short around the sides and back to get a neat and tidy edge. The top is left very short with only enough hair to spike or slick back. Her style was already short and dyed on both sides and her hair was longer on top for the crop look. Now the top part has been pulled away from her face and trimmed into a boyish wave.  Using a product is definitely needed to achieve this look for hold and shine.

Which undercut style is going to suit you?

The undercut is a personal statement style. If you work in an environment where this hairstyle is going to shock, you may want to reconsider having the undercut. The undercut is a unisex hairstyle where a section of the hair is shaved, allowing a layer of hair to fall over the shaved area. An undercut will suit whatever your face shape is. It just needs to be positioned in a way that will look good on you. Be wary though, undercuts can remove weight and body so they look best on thick hair, not thin or fine hair.

Consider where you want your undercut to be.  The most popular style is to have it on the sides; it looks great and will be noticeable most of the time. If you have it on the bottom of your neck at the back, it will only be revealed when you wear it up.

Consider how deep you want your undercut to be. A subtle shortening of your hair or something closer to a shave? If you want to be more subtle, you can go for a 4-6mm undercut, talk to your hairdresser about best achieving this look – shave or cut?

How much area do you want your undercut to cover? The trend is to have an undercut just on one side; celebrities like Mel B and Rihanna chose this style. You can trim a smaller area, 2 by 3 inches. Or you can remove most of the hair on one side.

If you go for an undercut you think is too short, don’t worry – it all grows back. If you go for an undercut you think is too long, that’s okay because you can always have it trimmed shorter until you’re happy with it.  The best way would be to take in a photo of your desired undercut to your hairdresser.

If you feel like a complete image overhaul the under cut is definitely for you. This drastic cut suits oval shaped faces, long faces and round shaped faces to balance it out. In fact any beautiful face can pull this look off. They are tough, punk like, rock and roll and vulnerable all mixed into one haircut.

Thicker, Fuller Hair Tips

Thicker, Fuller Hair Tips

Are you in constant combat with your hair laying thin and flat?  Knowing the secrets of transformation to get that thicker, fuller look are here for you.  It starts with understanding your fine hair and what you can do give it that full-bodied look .  The three most common reasons for hair to fall flat are the density, stiffness and curvature.  Denser hair has more hairs in a given area on the head, stiffness of the hair relates to how well the hair stands away from the scalp, and curvature refers to the straightness of the hair strand itself.

Hair that is fine often suffers from being weighed down.  Fine hair can feel and appear greasy or oily when there is build-up that styling products leave behind.  Shampooing a minimum of every other day can help to remove build-up.  Your stylist can help you find the right shampoo to do the job.

Those who have fine hair have more fragile hair.  The actual diameter of the hair strand is thinner than other types of hair.  Because of this added fragility, extra care should be taken during daily styling to avoid damaging fine hair.  With fine hair being two times as likely to break as normal, medium-texture hair, careful handling is a must.

Knots are a very common problem for fine hair.  This means a regular regimen of conditioning can help with breakage problems when fine hair tangles.  Because conditioners can weigh your hair down further, when you speak to your stylist about the right shampoo to use also discuss the right conditioners that will not add weight or product build-up.

Is thinning or hair loss your problem? Often, poor nutrition, build-up that suffocates the hair follicle, or toxins that block the hair follicle from receiving nutrients can all be causes for why hair thins or falls out.  If thinning or hair loss seems to be a problem, talk with your stylist to find a solution.

Now that you know the why of your fine hair falling flat, you can work with your stylist on using just the right products to get that thicker, fuller look.

Scalp Care Tips For Men

Scalp Care Tips For Men

Hair is basically a non-living protein which has no reparative properties.  However, the scalp is very much alive.  Since the scalp is the root of the hairs existence, it is safe to say that a healthy scalp leads to healthier hair.

Understanding the function of the scalp can help in keeping it healthy.  The outer layer of the skin cells acts as a barrier to prevent moisture loss and disease causing organisms from penetrating into the scalp.  A natural oil called sebum is secreted from the hair follicles which forms a layer of protection.

Avoiding problems with dry scalp is important.  Excessive hot air from blow drying can cause the scalp to dry along with shampooing in extremely hot water.  The sun, as well as chemicals from products are also a catalyst to dry scalp problems because they remove the necessary oils produced by the skin of the scalp.  Dry scalp can be very irritating and could lead to having more damage done from scratching the scalp when it is itchy.  A good leave in conditioner or oil treatments can help aid in replacing lost moisture.

Sometimes the problem may be a too oily scalp, which means there is an overproduction of sebum.  Using a balanced formula shampoo should help with combating the extra oil.

Daily washing and keeping the scalp clean reduces clogged pores.  One good wash a day with a gentle shampoo by working to clean the scalp and hair is sufficient.  Along with keeping a clean scalp, a weekly exfoliation using a gentle face scrub can also be lightly applied during a gentle shampoo so that dead skin cells and excess dirt are removed.

Massaging the scalp is important because it promotes a good flow of blood to the scalp and keeps it flexible.  Massaging the scalp will also comfort, sooth and relax nerves.  Placing the fingertips under the hair will keep the hair from being pulled.  Weekly scalp massages using the fingertips in a circular motion does wonders for scalp health and feels wonderful too.  Your head will thank you for a 5 minute scalp massage.

Scalp health can be affected by a variety of things, hereditary symptoms of too much oil or too much dryness, hormonal changes, a poor diet or poor hygiene are just a few causes.  Using some of the tips above can help men have a healthy scalp.

Cold Weather Hair Care: Winter Weatherproofing Your Luscious Locks – Oklahoma City

It’s just around the corner; the dreaded cold, frozen, winter weather.  Keeping our tresses beautiful and healthy throughout the frosty winter months can be done with some simple and effective changes to our daily hair care routine.  Winter months can be negative on our hair causing it to become dry, brittle, frizzy or dull.  We don’t have to let Jack Frost get the best of our luscious locks.  Good preparation and practices will help our hair remain unaffected and looking its best.

Below are some basic dos and don’ts to help us combat common problems of hair health in the winter.

Shampoo – Don’t: shampoo too frequently.  When it is cold, your scalp and hair dry out easily and quicker than during warm weather.  Don’t shampoo your hair more than once a day or every other day if possible.

Condition – Do: deep condition or use leave-in conditioners.  The coldness of winter weather and the dry heat indoors is robbing your hair of moisture, so it is imperative to condition.  Deep conditioning and an intensive daily conditioner are important.  Conditioning will help to keep static electricity minimal or non-existent all together (see other static electricity tips at the bottom).  Leave-in conditioners will help those with excessively dry hair.

Water Temperature – Don’t: use excessively hot water when washing hair, it can dry it out.  Rinsing in warm or cold water is the best practice and will give you smooth and shiny hair.  Cold water rinsing and washing can help lock moisture in, while hot water releases moisture.

Trimming/Cutting – Do: trim or cut your hair often, about half an inch a month is a good.  Even if you are actively growing out your tresses, trimming it a half inch every 4-6 weeks during the winter months will help prevent breakage and it’ll grow better once the warmer weather arrives because the points of breaking and splitting won’t have a chance to move up the hair shaft causing you to cut more length later on.

Blow Dryers & Heated Appliances – Don’t: use your blow dryer, flat iron or curling iron.  If it can be avoided during winter months, pack them away until spring.  These hot appliances will only dry hair out more during the cold winter.  If you can stand to air dry your hair inside without getting too cold, this will be best.

Hats & Cover Ups – Do: wear hats, scarves, or caps to protect your tresses from the frosty elements outside.  Whatever you use to cover up your locks should not be tight fitting, if they are too tight, scalp circulation will be constricted.  Wearing cover ups outside only is the way to go.  If you wear a hat all of the times your hair can become greasy and limp, so don’t keep it covered all of the time.

Clarifying – Don’t: use clarifying products during cold weather.  If silicone build-up is a problem for you, changing to silicone free products will be helpful, don’t use ingredients with a suffix of ‘cone’.  Silicone has the effect of adding shine and smoothness to hair but it can be difficult to remove and may have a drying effect on some types of hair.  Clarifying shampoos and rinses remove this build-up but can also remove the good, protective oils from your hair.  These oils are necessary and important during winter.  If you have to use a clarifying shampoo use as gentle a product possible.

Wear an Updo – Do: wear your long locks up when it’s cold. Pinning your hair up can limit the exposure to the outside cold and dry air while keeping your hair healthier. You can dazzle and make your updo hairstyle festive and funky for the holiday season.

Brushing – Don’t: over brush your hair in the winter, it can cause more damage since the cold weather causes it to be drier and more brittle.  Using a wide-tooth comb is better than a brush and combing it gently will help keep it healthier.  Mom and Grandma don’t always know best when it comes to brushing your hair a lot.

Static electricity and the frizzy flyaway hair is always a problem during the frigid months of winter.  To help combat this problem even after conditioning, anti-static sprays can be used.  These special sprays are formulated specifically for controlling static in the hair.  In an emergency, dryer sheets can be used on the hair or spraying your hairbrush with a light sprit of anti-static spray for clothing (Static Guard) can be used.  Keeping your winter clothes as free of static as possible in turn helps your hair, so don’t be afraid to use fabric softener on your clothes.

Knowing the dos and don’ts of winter hair care and preparing now, before the sub-zero temperatures are upon us can help keep our luscious locks looking fabulous all through the winter.

How to Get Madonna’s Super Bowl Style

Madonna’s Super Bowl halftime show was a spectacular showcase of her talents. She made quite a grand entrance in an Egyptian style pageant, and continued to wow the audience with her singing and choreography. No matter if your favorite team won or not, there’s no denying Madonna looked stunning. She holds her age remarkably well and has some of the most beautiful hair in Hollywood.

Style.com

You can recreate Madonna’s Super Bowl style easily with just a few steps. First you need a great cut. Have your stylist give you a slightly layered cut that falls below your shoulders. Be sure she concentrates the layers near the ends and gives you long fringe to frame your face. Next shampoo and condition your hair with your favorite volumizing and moisturizing system. Use a ceramic brush and a blow dryer to smooth your hair, and create a center part. Ceramic emits negative ions which help to minimize fly aways and frizz.

Once your hair is completely dry, spray it all over with thermal protection spray. Section your hair into 2 inch sections and use a medium barrel curling iron to add curls. You want the curls to be bouncy and even. Lift the roots with a rat tail comb, and comb out your hair with your fingers. Lastly spray with shine spray and firm hold hairspray to keep everything all together. This style works on long or medium length hair. Ask your stylist to recommend professional products to help style your hair like a celebrity and protect it from damage.

6 Tips for Winter Hair Care – Oklahoma City

The winter season is not only hard on your skin but also on your hair. You need to take time out to invest in some good hair care solutions in winter or you will end up with brittle and dry hair. Even if you show a little bit of negligence towards your hair, it can end up damaging your hair for a long time. This is exactly why you need to take special care of your hair during the winter season. Some of the very basic things you need to do in order to ensure that you have healthy and smooth hair in winter are given below:

ayushveda.com

Regular hair message:

If you want to have healthy, frizz-free hair in winter, it is extremely important to give your hair regular oil messages. You can choose any kind of hair oil that suits your hair type, such as mustard oil, coconut oil, olive oil, etc. Giving your scalp a good message is a great way of boosting circulation. In order to give yourself a good hot oil message, just cover your hair with a damp warm towel for at least 15 to 20 minutes. It will allow maximum absorption of the oil and give your hair the moisture it needs to look healthy and shiny.

Keep it Clean:

Most people do not realize the importance of keeping your hair clean. When your hair is dirty, it can increase dandruff and make your hair look greasy at all time. Make sure that you wash your hair on a regular basis to keep it healthy and clean.

Avoid harsh Products:

On the other hand, some people use shampoos and conditioners which are too harsh for their hair types and end up leaving the hair dull and brittle as they strip the hair of the natural oils and moisture. Consult your hair stylist before choosing any kind of shampoo or conditioner as he can guide you properly. Same goes for hair dyes; only use the good quality hair colors that suit your hair type or you will end up facing hair loss.

Don’t brush wet hair:

When your hair is wet, brushing it or tying it up in a knot can do a lot of damage. Always detangle wet hair with your fingers and do not tie it up until it is properly dry.

Satin Pillow covers:

You might not be aware of the fact, but sleeping on cotton pillow covers can damage your hair as it causes friction between the hair and the pillow cover. Buy satin pillow covers as they are gentle to your hair and you can visibly notice the difference in your hair condition once you switch the pillow covers.

Good diet:

Having a balanced diet is essential for healthy hair, whether it is summer or winter. Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated and don’t forget to take your minerals and proteins. Fruits and fresh vegetables are not only great for your figure but also work magic for your hair.

Beat the Winter Hair Doldrums

Winter can sap the moisture out of your hair, and moisture is vital to your hair and scalp’s health. Harsh winter weather and dry central heat can make your hair feel and look dry. They can also make your hair frizzy and hard to manage. You can help your hair make it through the winter with some simple tips.

http://farm1.staticflickr.com/108/313719888_25253f2265_m.jpg
Flickr.com

Use shampoos and conditioners with natural oils and ingredients. Argan oil is one of the best types of oil you can use on your hair. It absorbs completely and doesn’t leave your hair or scalp feeling greasy. Other hydrating ingredients include shea butter, jojobal oil, and sunflower oil.

Don’t wash your hair everyday. Although you may have been taught to wash your hair each and everyday, it is best to wash it every other day or three times a week unless you have very oily hair. This gives your scalp a chance to replenish the natural oils that keep your hair look and feeling healthy, shiny and strong. It also helps prevent scalp irritation.

Avoid using very hot water when shampooing your hair. Hot water opens up your cuticle (outer) layer of your hair too much and can make it feel rough.

Have a deep conditioning treatment. Once a month make an appointment to go to the salon and ask your stylist for a deep conditioning treatment. Not only will this rejuvenate your hair, but it is relaxing and makes your scalp feel great.

Treat yourself to a scalp massage while you’re getting a deep conditioning treatment. Massage stimulates the circulation in your scalp and helps to distribute the natural oils.

Use protective products before using your flat iron, curling iron, hot rollers, or blow dryer. Heat protective products keep your hair from scorching, helps to prevent breakage, and keeps your hair color vibrant.

Be sure to visit the salon at least once every six weeks for a trim. By keeping the ends of your hair trimmed you not only keep your haircut looking good, but you prevent split ends which can make your hair look and feel dry and frizzy.

The old wives tale of brushing your hair 100 times before bedtime does have some factual basis to it. Use a natural bristle wide paddle brush every night to brush out any tangles. A natural bristle brush also helps to distribute the natural oils and is very gentle on your hair. Ask your stylist for other tips to help beat the winter hair doldrums. She can give you recommendations on products and tools to keep your hair looking great all year.

How to Style a Classic Bun – Oklahoma City Hair Salon

A bun is a classic style which is suitable for special events or a day about town. If you have an evening gown with a beautiful neckline, a bun will help to accentuate it. In order to properly style a bun, your hair needs to be at least a bit past your shoulders. Day old hair works the best since it is not as slick as just washed hair, but if you feel the need to wash your hair first use some mousse or gel to make your hair more manageable. You can style a bun with some volume or go for a slicked back ballerina look.

http://www.hollywoodlife.com/2012/01/11/jessica-chastain-bun-hairstyle-ted-gibson/
Hollywood Life

For a bun with some volume, first apply a volumizing product to your roots and comb throughout your hair. Blow dry it with a large barrel brush pulling your hair up and back. Next use a few sprays of dry shampoo and backcomb the roots for extra volume. Dry shampoo is an excellent styling product that adds volume without product buildup. Pull your hair back into a ponytail, you can make it as high or low as you want, and secure it with a covered elastic. Spray the hair in the ponytail with hairspray to make it easier to work with, and wrap the ends of your hair around the elastic. Secure the ends with hairpins and bobby pins, and then spray your entire head with hairspray to keep everything in place.

For a slicked back look comb gel through your hair and blow dry it in the same manner as a volumized bun. Use a paddle brush to smooth your hair back into a ponytail and secure it with a covered elastic. Spray your entire head with hairspray. Spray the ends of your hair with a bit more hair spray and wrap them around the elastic. Secure with hairpins and bobby pins. Spray your hair with an anti-frizz product and more hairspray for control and you’re ready to go.

You may want to ask your stylist to help you the first couple of times so you can get the technique down. She can also recommend professional styling products to get the look you want.

Is Gray the New Black? – Oklahoma City Hairstlyist

Style experts are now saying gray is the new black. They’re not talking about wardrobes, but hair color. Hair turns gray because the melanocytes in your hair follicles start to produce less melanin. Melanin is what gives your hair its natural color. This is a part of aging and genetics plays a major part in when you will start to notice gray hairs. It is true a head of gray hair can be stunning, but if your gray hair has a gold or drab cast to it how can you make it look spectacular and not just old?

Jamie Lee Curtis
Jamie Lee Curtis (Image via RottenTomatoes.com)

While your hair is turning gray you may want to have it colored to blend in the gray. But after a while you may get tired of having to go back every two weeks or so to get your regrowth colored. Once the majority of your hair has turned gray, you may decide to go natural. This is a bold move and can be a very attractive choice. While your hair is growing out your stylist may recommend lightening your hair to make the transition easier and more natural looking.

To keep your gray hair looking its best use shampoos and conditioners made specifically for gray hair. These products contain ingredients that tone down gold and yellow tones that can make gray hair look drab and lifeless. Most of them contain a slight blue or purple cast that highlights the silver and brings out the natural shine in your hair. Gray hair is exactly like colored hair in composition, but you may find it is a bit coarser. You still need to take care of it and keep it moisturized. Use protective products before you blow dry, curl or flat iron your hair. Keep up on your trims and cuts so that you don’t have split ends and to keep your style looking great.

Gray may be the new black, and you may want to go natural and let your silver hair shine. Ask your stylist for recommendations about growing out your natural hair color. She can help you make the transition and keep you looking great.

The Secrets to Sleek and Shiny Hair – Oklahoma City Hairstylist

Sleek and shiny hair is sexy. Curly, straight, wavy, thick or thin hair can be sleek and shiny. The secrets to healthy looking and manageable hair isn’t rocket science. It is a mixture of proper hair and scalp care, a great cut, and the best quality styling and hair care products you can afford. Even if your hair is frizzy and a challenge, you can have great looking hair with a few tips and secrets from beauty professionals.

Description unavailable
Source: pexels.com

First get a great cut. Go to a stylist who is experienced and can help you find a cut that will look great on you. She needs to take into consideration your face shape, hair type and texture, hair thickness, and how much time you’re willing to spend on your hair each day. It’s a waste of money to choose a cut and style that takes more time than you can afford to spend each morning. Be honest with your stylist about your lifestyle and commitment to styling your hair. Even a wash and go style looks great if your hair is healthy and cut correctly.

The second secret is to take care of your hair. Don’t use very hot water when you wash it. This strips the moisture out of your hair and scalp. Very hot water can also make your hair color fade quickly if you get your hair colored in the salon. Only use tepid water and use a gentle motion when you shampoo your hair. Never use your fingernails when you wash your hair, only your finger tips. Your fingernails can make scratches on your scalp that can get infected and irritate your scalp. Pat your hair dry with a cotton towel, don’t rub it. This prevent tangles and roughing up the cuticle layer. Never brush wet hair, only use a large tooth comb to prevent breakage and damage. Be gentle with your hair as you blow dry it. Don’t tug or pull on your hair. Once your hair is dry, use a natural bristle brush to help spread the natural oils and smooth your hair’s cuticle.

The third secret is to use professional products. These have no sulfates to strip your hair of its natural oils and pull the color out of the hair shaft. Many of them contain natural vitamins and oils to nourish your hair. One of the best products you can use contain Argan oil. Argan oil is one a natural oil from the Argan tree found only in Morocco. The nuts from the tree are ground and pressed to extract the oil which is used in cosmetics and hair care products. Argan oil rebuilds, restores and protects your hair. It is absorbed completely and does not leave your hair feeling greasy. You can find styling products, anti-frizz products, shampoos and conditioners, and even skin care products with Argan oil as a key ingredient. It provides your hair with essential fatty acids and rebuilds your hair from within.

Intelligent Haircuts – Oklahoma City Hair Stylist

One of the most important things in women’s lives is their hair and haircut. It is something that makes a woman beautiful and attractive. So, be careful with the changes because every season carries a new trend. Many women are trying to follow trends without thinking about the consequences.  Many change and cut their hair in accordance with “the spirit of the time.” However, it`s not always wise. Blindly following fashion can lead to dissatisfaction. Once you cut off your hair, it is difficult to wait for it to grow. Maybe you can restore it with quality extensions but this involves some expense. But the fact is that changes can sometimes disappoint you and it’s good to think about this possibility before you do something major.

First of all, you should consult your hairdresser. It’s necessary to talk about your wishes and analyze your hair. For example, if you still have attractive and modern long hair, but the roots and tops are cracked, there’s help! Consult your hairdresser about the best musk and products for your hair. There are so many products available. She will usually repair your hair quickly and efficiently! But, experts recommend natural care too. Before washing your hair, put some olive oil on it and put a towel on your head. Keep it that way for two hours and then just wash it. This way will miraculously repair your hair! If you still like curly hair, your hairdresser can make soft curls with the hair curler. After the treatment of your hair, this kind of haircut will make your hair irresistible.

Sometimes your hair must be cut but you shouldn’t ignore your own desires, provided that attention is paid to your face and hair texture. Every client must get personal advice because their characteristics are unique, both physically and emotionally. These features should not be forgotten, because every person has a personal style and attitude. A good hairdresser will discern your needs and know how to improve and enrich your hair. Consideration of the shape of your face should never be neglected. Every facial shape corresponds to different ways of cutting.

Straight hairstyles can be appropriate. They can allow for various lengths of hair, bangs, and different ways of cutting, especially semi-long hair with subtle peaks casually pulled out. Straightening hair today is healthier because there are products that do not destroy your hair at all. Some of these techniques take up to half a year. Antique interference, lengthening, or straightening using different methods can make your hair straight for a long time!  There are traditional hairstyles, which have been done for thousands of years. But you can update them easily and wear them in the modern age. There are so many “intelligent” ways to cut your hair that will make you feel invigorated and excited. But, of course, to do the best for you and your hair, consult your hairdresser! You won’t go wrong by doing this every time!
