With a round face, layers should begin below the cheek bones, to avoid making the face moon-shaped.
Even with an emo-cut, medium layers are best, as shorter layers can often be too dramatic. They can over-emphasize a round face.
Longer hair helps to balance out a rounder face and create a more flattering appearance.
